Seek Serenity - Weekly Reading - Week 2

Ok, here it is.  Week 2!  I'm excited!!

I've always been a huge fan of Richard's, how can you not LOVE his energy!!

I'm just going to jump right in because...I need to get to bed.

---

Seek serenity.

In this time of chaotic energy it is imperative that you seek serenity.  Actively seek it out and be sure that you always have it within you.  There is quite a bit of erratic energy about these days and many people are getting swept up in it.  However, when you have serenity within you have the ability to follow your path without faltering.  Some will falter and that is OK.  Should you find this happening to you simply go to a quiet place, seek serenity and carry the feeling within you.  If it does not come easily ask your guides for assistance.  This will help you to avoid chaos energy.  Do not fear requesting help from your guides, they are never too busy, it is their job to assist you in any way you need them to.  They are always there.  Their greatest desire is to help you.  All you need to do is ask.  That is the most important part as they cannot do a single thing until you ask them .

---

Seems to be quite similar to last weeks "Have Peace" message.  However, the energy is pretty heavy and erratic these days isn't it?  Solitude would certainly combat that wouldn't it?!?  Try to keep this in mind as your week goes by.  Maybe a reminder two weeks in a row is a good idea.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Sweet blessings to you all.

One last thing.  I found this.  It's cute.  I had to share.

Have Peace - Weekly (I'm gonna try!) Reading - Week 1

So, I've decided that since I am after all putting up a website to offer my ability lend assistance to people who are seeking a guide through the twisty maze we call life I should probably offer you something that proves that I am actually capable of providing that service.  Makes sense.  Should have thought of it years ago!

Makes perfect sense actually.

Well, here goes.

My favourite thing is to channel messages from The Creator of All That Is (that's what we call it in ThetaHealing).  This is it:

---

Have peace.

In this time when there is so much turmoil and upset in the world the most important thing that you can do for yourself, your family, your loved ones, your health, your financial freedom, your relationships, your future and any other situation that you find yourself concerned and/or obsessed about is to "Have Peace".  When you find you are worried talk to your guides, angels, past loved ones, whoever you feel comfortable calling on in times of need and ask them for assistance with whatever is troubling you.  Then "Have Peace".  If there is something that you desire, ask, then let it go and "Have Peace".  The opposite of this is to have stress.  Stress causes too much havoc in so many different parts of life that it is just not worth it to keep it around yet so many desperately hold onto it as it if were the last bit of rope attached to a life line.  It is not.  Peace of Spirit will free you from the chains of stress that weigh you down.

Have peace and your life will start flowing smoothly.  It will be as if everything was being divinely guided.

----

Well, there it is.  A wise friend of mine remarked recently that stress is a reaction that was useful way back in the caveman days, it allowed us to stay alert and survive the daily stresses like living among large carnivores and having no walls to keep them out.  It is for the most part entirely useless now.  It shows us when we need to connect to a higher power and let The Universe guide the way.

All of these "otherworldly beings" are there waiting to help you.  They want so much to do so.  However, unless you ask for their assistance they cannot.  One other thing that I recommend doing is once the help has been received (...and it will always be given...), remember to say Thank you.  It is not necessary, you will continue to receive help as you make requests but, I have found in my personal experience that when I show appreciation that help is bigger and quicker each time I ask.

Some of you may be wondering how to start.  Well, it's kind of like praying.  I say kind of because I don't really know what praying is like.  I didn't go to church growing up other than the occasional Easter Sunday or Christmas Eve Mass and I certainly never did the whole "prayers before bed" thing either.  It is simply an internal dialogue that I keep with my Guides and the Creator and the Universe.  I talk to them and when I listen they talk back...all in different ways.  So, keep your eyes open because your answers won't always come in a way that you expect, it will quite often be something much MUCH better and not at all what you had in mind.

Have Peace this week.  Future you will appreciate that you did.

PS: If you would like guidance on a more personal level please check out my other pages (especially the Readings/Guidance/Energy Healing one) and send me an email.  I don't have a proper "store" set up yet but, I'm getting there. ( It's incredible how much ...stuff... has to happen for a proper website.  Ugh!) I look forward to hearing from you!!

Green Bread

I really wish that I'd thought to take a picture of this before I cut into it.  Ah well...hindsight eh?  It really was a nice looking loaf of bread.  Let me tell you as a non-experienced chef/baker who likes to experiment right out of the gate that DOES NOT happen very often.

I have quite a number of people in my household that are gluten intolerant and a few that have grain allergies and I needed to make some bread.  Some might think that the easy solution is to just quit eating bread.  To that I say to you TRY IT!  Then, I wish you luck.  The next logical step would be to adopt a Paleo Diet.  Same issue.  Paleo for the most part is a lovely idea but, no bread, cereal...etc.

So, I took to the internet and re-found this website among others that are equally great.  This, however, is the one I picked.  I like quick and easy and it had it right there in the recipe title.  It's from a great website called MOMables.  I've been getting her emails for months now and they always have some great things in them.  The recipe is Easy Grain Free Sandwich Bread Recipe - Blender Bread.  It is great.  She says that it can be toasted. I haven't tried yet and I don't know if I'll be able to before its gone.  It's just toooo gooood.  It tastes like it would be though!  ...for breakfast, with some eggs....mmmmmust go grocery shopping....

As far as the bread itself; in relation to texture, size, shape its kind of like a banana or zucchini bread.  Taste-wise its more like an ancient grains/seed-type bread.  Its quite....hearty?  I don't want to say heavy because after you eat it you don't get that feeling of it sitting there in the pit of your stomach.  It is filling though....and oh so YUMMY!!  Here's a picture.

it IS green in the middle and the top is shiny and dark brown

Shortly after this I ate these two pieces.  One with peanut butter and the other with raspberry jammmmmm.  Earlier I had a piece with some Crockpot Lasagne Soup (I used turkey instead of beef).  Also from MOMables.  So, its versatile and not sweet OR savoury.  Did I mention that you mix it in the blender and not a regular mixer?  Also, there's no need to let it sit to rise.  So, if you're quicker than me at adding ingredients and such (I don't know why I take so long but, I do) you can have a nice warm loaf of bread in under an hour.

My soup was a bit of a fail only because I used rice pasta and that tends to completely break down if it isn't taken out of the liquid right away (I knew this and yet, I used it anyway...why?  Who knows.)  Also, someone took some initiative and added a can of black beans...it isn't bad by any means but, it wasn't what I was looking forward to.  It does taste good.

I got the recipe from one of her sample meal plans. They are really quite good.  Again, quick and easy.  My favourite!! I'm thinking of signing up for her meal plan.  I just wish she accepted PayPal.  It just makes life so much easier.

Anyway...

Here's the comment I left on the bread recipe page it has the substitutions that I used (I am SO MUCH not a fan of coconut, lol ~ another issue with "going Paleo").  If you decide to try it I'd love to hear about it:

I made this and it is wonderful!!
I made a few substitutions though.  I thought I'd list them for those that may have similar questions.
*I only had four jumbo eggs and that turns out to be perfect. (Yay! lol)
*I am not a fan of coconut so, for the flour I found this website:
http://www.enkivillage.com/substitute-for-coconut-flour.html
I used chickpea flour at the ratios suggested.
*Instead of coconut oil I used olive oil.
*I also didn't have cashews or the suggested walnut substitution.  Also, I have to admit that the idea of green bread had me a little excited so, I used sunflower seeds.
*Last I used agave instead of honey for no other reason than because my three year old handed that to me instead of the honey.
My bread turned out great.  I wish I could upload a picture here but, I've posted this on my blog too so, if you're curious please come and take a look.  It isn't every day that you get to see green bread!  lol
***I just wish I had a better camera because the colour looks more blue than green in the picture but, it really is green!

Have a great week everyone!  Be sure to check out my other pages.  I've got a new special on readings.  Please let me know if you have any questions.
